I am running for the president of the United States because I know that the best of America is ahead of us.

But at the state level, this became baked in with redistricting. And more and more states now have Republican legislatures who will ban or restrict abortions if governors or state officials are not there to veto it.

The fact that President Trump has already announced accelerates everyone's timeframe.

But I think it's important that we state our conviction. And I think I am standing alone on this point saying, let's -- let the facts develop and be patient.
