It was the biggest overhaul of our healthcare system since Medicare and Medicaid, in 1965. On paper, it sounded great--expand access, protect people with preexisting conditions, and make insurance cheaper for families without employer plans. But to no one's surprise, what started as a bold Democratic dream of affordable coverage for all turned into a bloated mess.…”
