The Trump Department of Justice has used its power to intimidate and victimize communities of color, especially Black Americans.

Today’s ruling sends a clear message: Black voters in Alabama cannot and will not be silenced.

I’m grateful for his decades of service and his commitment to telling the full, honest story of our nation.

This investigation is just one more example of Republicans and President Trump using power of his office to harass and intimidate anyone willing to challenge him.
