The poll-worker shortage creates serious problems for our democracy.
Today we are taking up a bill, the ACE Act, that would suppress vote versus allowing people to vote more freely.
There are currently right now in D.C. 712,000 residents of D.C. that do not have full voting representation in Congress.
Nobody should have to wait in line for hours to exercise that fundamental, constitutional right to vote.
