If this court strikes down these critical provisions, it would not only reverse decades of precedent, but it would also take us back to a dark time in our nation's history, a time when discrimination against minority voters went unchecked.
To tell the truth means to share the good and the bad. And if we don’t tell our stories, who will tell our stories?
I applaud the three-judge panel for upholding the rule of law and reaffirming that racial discrimination has no place in our redistricting process.
