Let me just say, I know the gentleman from Oregon is very passionate, and I respect the gentleman very much, but I do want to say that this amendment ignores the problems of abuse. It sends a false message to our young people across this country that smoking marijuana is healthy. And I strongly urge the rejection of the amendment.
