Let me just reiterate again that the gentleman's proposed cuts just go too far. They would undoubtedly cut and harm border security, transportation security, maritime security, cargo security, cybersecurity, immigration enforcement, and disaster preparedness. The list of crucial programs that would be adversely impacted by this across-the-board amendment goes on and on. I would urge my colleagues to oppose this amendment.
