Exactly. For 15 years this essential support is provided by WHCA and funded through the Defense Department. Now, because after 15 years someone has decided to interpret guidelines differently, we must alter the funding process and add bureaucratic redtape to the process that works just fine. Providing the funds to the Secret Service so that they can return it to the White House Communications Agency is a waste of time and effort. There are no savings, just added redtape.
