I strongly support requiring all of our NATO allies to meet their 2 percent obligation, but arbitrarily cutting off funding to NATO with a war raging in Eastern Europe and Putin threatening us with nuclear weapons is absolutely the wrong thing to do. It also shoots us in the foot. Our force posture in Europe is dependent on the investments we make to NATO. We need a stronger NATO for our own defense. Mr. Chair, I urge all Members to oppose this amendment.

Matter of fact, I think all three of the Democrats who are running for the nomination are out of step already, and it's only gonna get worse. This really will be about crazy versus common sense in the state of Michigan.
They are encouraging a lot of people to get worked up to cross that line between what would be normal political discourse into radical, aggressive political behavior, including attempted murder, which you just saw in the UFC fights.
