Americans are understandably concerned with the rapid development of AI, and they deserve straight answers.

No reasonable company in the world gives its CEO a bonus after failing to meet multiple performance metrics, and the Postmaster General—who serves the American people—should be no different.

We also want to ensure that funding of these technologies is paired with appropriate oversight to ensure that the funding is not used to facilitate such abuse.

This is not complicated: if the Postal Service does not meet basic performance metrics, the Postmaster General’s compensation should reflect that.
