I fully support strong urban search and rescue teams, especially in the Midwest. I believe FEMA should move quickly to assure an appropriate geographical mix of teams that are funded adequately. Furthermore, FEMA should consider decommissioning some teams that do not meet the urban search and rescue programs' high standards.
