we have dealt with this before. We are going to push for higher standards and fuel efficiency, but only to the extent technologically feasible to require an arbitrary figure pulled out of the air to be substituted for the procedure in the Levin-Bond amendment. It makes no sense. I urge all our colleagues who voted for the Levin-Bond amendment to support the motion to table for jobs, for safety and for consumer choice.
