Unlike the Middle East, in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, Islam and Muslim organizations have been at the forefront of the country's struggle for a democratic society. And Muslim groups and leaders in Indonesia have been among the world's pioneers in driving inter-faith dialogues. During my recent visit to Indonesia, I met Yenny Zannuba Wahid, one of the latest leaders in this movement.
