The students in this program are lawfully enrolled, they complete their course of study and they receive a liberal arts degree. I have prepared an amendment to correct this situation, but I am going to withhold introducing the amendment at this time and attempt to work through this situation with the INS. However, should this situation not be addressed I will consider offering the amendment when the Senate considers the appropriate future legislation.
