The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of the bill (before the short title), insert the following: Sec. __. None of the funds made available by this Act may be used to implement, administer, or enforce the rule entitled ``Energy Conservation Program: Energy Conservation Standards for Room Air Conditioners'' published by the Department of Energy in the Federal Register on May 26, 2023 (88 Fed. Reg. 34298). The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 756, the gentleman from Alabama (Mr. Palmer) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes.
