Bush's actions were utterly abhorrent, and my thoughts remain with all the bereaved families in Hull who were so badly let down.

My message to Iran and Russia, and anyone who does their bidding, is clear. We will take all measures necessary to protect the British people, at home and abroad.

I do agree that actually that was not highlighted in the priorities in February. That is a reflection of the pace at which this is moving, and this is me looking forward and thinking this is going to shape everything that we do.

I want to make it a personal crusade to put the cradle back at the heart of the NHS.
