Steve Reed: “British democracy is not for sale.”

There are so many pubs that are wanting to open their doors to fans so that they can watch the World Cup, and we want to do everything we can as a government to make sure that happens.

Serving as the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government has been the honour of my life and although I am disappointed to be leaving Government now, I wish your new team every success.
