I hope the authorities will carefully consider all the circumstances of Mrs Thomas’s case, including her long residence in Sweden, her family connections, and the humanitarian factors involved.

I certainly think that FIFA should be looking into this. Absolutely, they should.

I think it was certain to happen because it was such an egregious violation of the the rules of not having political activity as part of the football.

I expect Fifa to do its investigation thoroughly.
