I therefore hope the committee will think very carefully before pursuing a course of action that could once again raise questions about its impartiality and potentially damage its relationships with key stakeholders across Scotland.
The answer to that vulnerability cannot be to remain permanently dependent on the fossil fuels that expose us to precisely this instability.
