We’ve got to make sure AI enhances work: that we help people through the jobs transition, and we’re not like the Tories, who just leave people to cope on their own.

Next week we will lay in Parliament an update to the Online Safety Act requiring services to take quicker action to remove illegal content circulating during times of crisis.

We want young people to enjoy the benefits of technology while having the tools to make the online world a place where they can thrive.

I will take the decision for British families and British children and young people, and I won’t be swayed in any way, shape or form from doing what I believe is right for children in this country.
