Lara Bird: “Politics is changing in Westminster.”

What I don't want is for other young women in my constituency, across Scotland, across the whole UK, to look at the experience that I've had and go, ‘well, I can't do that’, because that doesn't serve our national political conversation…

We have a really great opportunity at the next General Election to be in a position where that negotiation can seriously start with the next iteration of the Westminster government.

I THINK you've got to be really realistic about what's going to happen in Westminster.

We need young women in politics. And I think that the ease and comfortability of directing so much hatred towards me can be pinpointed at the lack of accountability on social media as one example.
