The publication of the bill for a second time gives parliament the opportunity to complete the task it started when the legislation ran out of time in the Lords earlier this year.

I hated it. I hated being a government minister actually, I hated it.

I won't go back and be a junior minister who – whilst having an awful lot of gumption and kudos in the field – I won't go back and just start knocking heads together again.

I’m pleased that the Government have said that they will legislate to ensure that tech companies act, I look forward on working with them to make the strongest possible legislation to ensure it happens.
