I have told Kemi Badenoch that I will leave the shadow cabinet. Serving there has been a privilege, and I know there will continue to be strong voices around that table.

Frankly, Kemi is doing really well now. She’s getting great cut-through.

I hope to be a real champion for London, not just an administrator. I would make sure people are safe on the street and can really make a life for themselves and their families and can afford to live in London.

Our route to getting Kemi in No 10 has got to be through success in London.
