Douglas Alexander: “Scottish fans should be bigger than being anti-English.”

I am fully committed to being Scotland's voice at the UK Government's Cabinet table, and to working in close alignment with the Prime Minister and parliamentary colleagues to deliver for Scotland within the UK.

In trade policy, geography still matters.

We’re already paying a real economic price for putting up new barriers to our European neighbours who, with almost half of total UK trade, remain easily our largest trading partners.

The council leadership should get back around the table today and find a better way forward.
