As I was listening to the Senator from Alabama, and maybe he will correct me if I have this wrong, but we are talking about Alabama, this is not Brooklyn, NY, we are talking about; right? And we are talking about the attorney general of the State of Alabama. If I understand it right, after he was appointed, he went out of his way to point out that to have the words banning an interracial marriage in the Alabama State Constitution was wrong; did I understand the Senator to say that?
