The Labour government has made mistake after mistake on this early release scheme.

Despite our warnings in Parliament, they initially planned to release rapists and dangerous criminals.

If they’re serious about fixing this and ending public anger, they need to get serious about the measures – leave the ECHR (European Convention on Human Rights) and deport illegal immigrants as soon as they arrive.

The only way we can stop the crossings is by having a proper deterrent.
