Andrew Bowie: “We will legislate to ensure that Scotland can host new nuclear power generation.”

If John Swinney and SNP ministers want to have a fight over any plans that would deliver thousands of jobs and protect energy security, then I say bring it on.

I do not want any part of Great Britain to miss out on the global nuclear revolution that is underway. That is why we will legislate to ensure that Scotland can host new nuclear power generation.

It is outrageous that someone who has major assets and a huge salary like Peter Murrell has been entitled to legal aid at all.

We will need a third large-scale reactor. We will build that reactor, and no part of Britain will be off limits, including Scotland.
