Scottish families are saving £444 a year on free prescriptions as people in England pay through the teeth for access to basic healthcare – that’s the difference between SNP-run Scotland and Labour-run England.

£444 is a significant amount of money for hard-pressed Scottish families especially during this Westminster-made cost of living crisis.

Only the SNP can be trusted to protect Scottish families from charges in our NHS.

Almost a year on since alarm bells started ringing, it is unacceptable that thousands of retired civil servants have still been left in limbo.

It is absolutely ridiculous that despite the disaster this scheme has been that not one UK Government minister has taken accountability.

This is an absolutely damning report – Westminster’s capitulation to the demands of the White House and US big pharma could cost the lives of over 200,000 people in England alone. That is absolutely devastating.

The Labour Party used sick Scots as a bargaining chip to lure big pharma to the south of England and it’s Scotland’s NHS that will pay the price – Westminster has put Scotland’s NHS at risk.

Anyone can see that agreeing to pay 25% more for vital medicines, costing the NHS £45bn, is a shocking deal. Labour ministers have serious questions to answer.

We know Nigel Farage would sell off our NHS in heartbeat, but it seems the Labour Party have beat him to it – the question now is will Andy Burnham stand by this disaster of a deal?

Unlike in England, where Westminster has let sinister tech giants like Palantir get their hands on the NHS, Scotland’s NHS will never be up for sale under the SNP.

It is deeply troubling that individuals who have dedicated their lives to public service are left in this situation.

The disruption has therefore caused considerable financial distress, with some needing to take on post-retirement work to pay their bills.

Westminster ignored all the warnings, dishing out a private contract that cost taxpayers hundreds of millions and it has all gone pear shaped.

It is a Westminster story as old as time.
