If the UK is to be a credible voice for peace, then there must urgently be an end to the arming of war criminal regimes such as Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
Those vested interests must never be allowed to come before human rights or the rule of law. We need to know who knew what, when they knew it, and what they did or about it or what they failed to do in response.
But we cannot ignore the role of Reform and its backers, whose politics of division have helped embolden and empower hateful groups.
We need politics that brings people together, not politics that manufactures enemies.
