The answer to anger and insecurity is investment in our communities, decent jobs, affordable homes, properly funded public services and a politics that brings people together rather than tearing them apart.

Diversity is not a problem to be solved – people from different backgrounds living, working and raising their families alongside one another is a strength of our communities and a source of cultural, social and economic richness.

We must stand against the far right in all its forms – on our streets, in our media, in our politics, wherever we find them.

The UK Government and the courts have criminalised conscience and sent a chilling message to anyone willing to speak out against injustice.
