Obviously, we’ve been arguing for some time for an end to conflict and fighting, and the fact that we are now in a situation where there is a peace deal in place is very welcome news.

The bill is simple, straightforward and direct, and the UK Government now needs to respect the voice of the Scottish people and Parliament and transfer the necessary powers.
This is part of my Government’s wider agenda to provide patients with greater choice and access to care closer to home – in turn relieving pressure on hospitals and acute services.
I am pleased this has been resolved and I appreciate the patience and co-operation of members of the public, including the passenger who bravely assisted crew during the rescue.
