The Government always has to act in a lawful fashion, that is exactly what we do and we’ll take forward our policy objectives to protect the public interest over bus services in the way that I’ve set out and by engagement with the sector.

This has meant that the people of Scotland have not fully benefitted from the wealth generated by our vast energy resources.
My clear view is that, given the distribution of North Sea oil and gas resources, any such fund should be prioritised for offshore renewable opportunities and be ring-fenced to be focused on the north-east of Scotland.
