Jack Middleton: “Folk in the North East shouldn’t have to pay through the nose to attend big events in the city.”

I think it’s time for the Scottish Government to bring the cap to the North East and transform public transport for half a million folk.

No matter someone’s financial situation, they should be able to attend university or college without the barrier of ludicrously high tuition fees.

At a time when Scotland's North Sea industry needs support, the Labour Party has abandoned our workers and punished our industry with thousands of avoidable job losses.

That’s why the SNP’s bus cap is so important – more money in people’s pockets at a time when the price of everything else is rising.
