I’m angry and upset for 1100 BP workers in the North Sea who, during a brutal cost of living crisis, will be fearful about their future and their family’s livelihoods.

While we still need oil and gas, we should be decreasing our reliance on countries in the Middle East and from friends of Vladimir Putin.

Frankly, I think that’s one of our duties to our northern European allies.

The reality though is that Energy-rich Scotland is paying the price of repeated Westminster failure. With the fresh start of independence we will bring down people’s bills.
