The latest application for St George’s Road—a 314-bed proposal—could mean 1,561 PBSA beds within a 300m radius, which would be an overconcentration that I hope that Glasgow City Council’s planning committee will refuse to approve.

Residents in the Woodlands area of my constituency are concerned about the impact that the proliferation of large-scale purpose-built student accommodation—commonly known as PBSA—is having on the community.
