I think that parliaments, both in Scotland and in Westminster, should reflect the society, the demographic of the society that they served.

We have no power to control energy prices, but we do have the power to make it easier to heat Scottish homes, and the SNP just haven't delivered on that massive programme to get homes insulated.

With the arithmetic of the parliament as it is, we're now without question the most influential and powerful group in the parliament.

I worry that their continued refusal to do so will only cause more problems for the institutions they are abandoning, and in the most serious cases, that could result in tragedy.
