We need urgent answers from both Highland Council and the SNP government on why so much money was redirected away from people who need it most.

These figures are hardly surprising given the SNP Government has ridden roughshod over the wishes of local residents and councils for years.

The SNP Government should back our plans to pause all major renewable energy applications and put in place a system that gives residents a meaningful say.

Inverness residents would be relieved that the UK government had finally seen sense and abandoned this misguided plan.
