The SNP has just won the election and has commanded the confidence of the people of Scotland with an election campaign that related to what I thought was the most important issue facing the people of Scotland in the election campaign, which was the cost of living challenges that people are facing.

In May, the largest number of pro-independence MSPs in history voted to support the call for powers to hold a referendum on Scottish independence to be devolved to the Scottish Parliament.
I think the whole of the summer has demonstrated that Glasgow is a city which has much to be proud of.
