Vladimir Putin: “Russia is committed to eliminating the root cause of the war and arriving at a lasting plan for peace.”

Your choice, and your will, will once again demonstrate that millions of people stand behind our soldiers, that we are a united people bound together by shared values, historical memory, and love for our homeland, and that no one will…

Your choice and determination will show once again that millions of people are backing our fighters and that we stand together.

I think it's another mistake, a serious one. And in my view it clearly runs counter to the interests of the German people.

Such a high, even record, number of people who came out and voted shows that the people of Russia support our efforts aimed at strengthening the country.
