Zohran has demonstrated a real partnership with local communities and a willingness to work with all New Yorkers to make the city more affordable and inclusive.

I welcome Leader Jeffries’ support and look forward to delivering a city government, and building a Democratic Party, relentlessly committed to our affordability agenda — and to fighting Trump’s authoritarianism.

So there’s no fear today.

I didn’t take the remark serious at the time, of course I think it’s an offensive comment, period. But it did not come out of my mouth, that’s the point.

Zohran is not a Democrat. Democratic socialist is a different thing. It shouldn't even have the word 'democratic' in front of it. They are socialists.

Everything you just stated, you just said, was a misstatement — which we’re accustomed to.
