The judge said that Dr. Eastman and President Trump launched a campaign to overturn a democratic election, an action unprecedented in American history.

We want to talk to Mr. Scavino, Mr. Navarro about their roles in attempt to overturn an election. The American people didn’t pay their salaries to do that.

Mr. Scavino and Mr. Navarro have a duty to respond to the subpoenas of this committee. However, they`ve decided apparently that they`re above the law.

Congress has a constitutional duty to investigate, and we have a duty to the American people to investigate the violent attack on our capitol that attempted to prevent the peaceful transition of power.

Without enforcement of congressional subpoenas, there is no oversight. And without oversight, no accountability, not for the former president or any other president, past, present, or future.

Attorney General Garland, do your job so that we can do ours.

Tonight, I will vote to hold Mr. Scavino and Mr. Navarro accountable for their actions and recommend that the House of Representatives cite both of them for contempt of Congress.
