U.S. farmers and ranchers have long been at the forefront of climate-smart farming, utilizing scientific solutions, technology, and innovations.

We cannot ignore the dangers of this extremism.

You know, you`ve Mehmet Oz, who is a crashing joke. You`ve got J.D. Vance who can`t get out of his own way. You have Herschel Walker who, I`m not even going to go there.

Well, they got blown up by Citizens United. And weirdly, the court in Citizens United said that this was all going to be transparent, so we`d actually know who was going to be spending it.

This is not a normal Republican Party anymore. This is a Republican Party of chaos, and corruption, and QAnon, and Marjorie Taylor Greene, and the big lie, and a party that is willing to excuse the former president no matter what he does.

This is a party of corruption, and chaos, and QAnon, and Marjorie, Taylor Greene, and insurrection and the big lie. They have forfeit the right to have control over the economy, over our health care, over our democracy.

This is about whether or not we’re going to live in a democracy, or whether or not we’re going to give power to people who have lost the right to be in control of our economy, of our health care, of our democracy.

I begin my book really in part to sound the alarm about the threat we face in this country, the threat to our democracy and the hopes of encouraging people to understand that must be our first priority in the Midterm elections is defending…

We have a fundamental choice. Are we going to protect American democracy? Are we going to give power to this group of people who are engaged in very anti-democratic behaviors?

Every time we stand up to a lie that they use to try to poison American politics, we`re defending democracy.

This is about whether or not we`re going to live in a democracy, or whether or not we`re going to give power to people who have lost the right to be in control of our economy, of our health care, of our democracy.

I wrote a book because this is a dangerous moment and I feel like everyone has to do everything they can to sound the alarm, to raise your voice to make sure people understand the threat we face so that we can confront it, and defeat it…
