I agree with Senator Cassidy and with your own comments, Mr. Schultz, which is that people have a legal right to form a union.

But there is also union greed.

I also think it is somewhat rich that you are being grilled by people who have never had the opportunity to create a single job.

I'm shocked that they don't want to condemn it.

How in the world could anyone sit and listen to this and go, 'You know, that's OK with me, use the Federal government as contractors to go suppress free speech.'?

I think my description to you is sufficient that you could make a judgment of that.

I recognize at the outset there is some irony to a non-coffee drinking Mormon conservative defending a Democrat candidate for President in perhaps one of the most liberal companies in America.

If they do not believe the ideas that they do not like are worthy of hearing, then our society, our whole constitutional order is lost.

The role of American government has always been to defend the freedom of the students.

Far too many higher education institutions claim to uphold this right, accept funding from the American taxpayer, and then purposefully turn their backs and betray us.

Freedom of speech is a constitutionally protected God-given Right ensconced in our founding documents.

I also think it is rich to not recognize the extraordinary conflict of interest we have, which is our Democratic colleagues overwhelmingly get their campaign funds from unions.

This bill will make it easier for Americans to safely recreate, assist more generally in our efforts to recruit a new generation of conservationists, and also improve the condition of our public lands.

Conservation is an issue that all Americans care about.

We are going to drive this this Congress, and you know, time is running out. We want to get this going.
