January 6th was the culmination of an attempted coup, a brazen attempt... to overthrow the Government.

Donald Trump was at the center of this conspiracy. Ultimately, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, spurred a mob of domestic enemies of the Constitution to march down the Capitol and subvert American democracy.

The socioeconomic impacts of this legislation... is completely unworkable.

Certainly around the Nation and especially in the State of Mississippi, we have been faced with mesothelioma and asbestosis among industrial workers.

There is no evidence that anyone has ever been harmed by drinking this water that used an asbestos diaphragm.

I am reminded of that dark history as I hear voices today try and justify the actions of the insurrectionists on January 6, 2021.

You wouldn't provide water that didn't have that necessary tiny bit of chlorine?

I loved campaigning. And I told my wife when I got elected, if I enjoyed campaigning that much--if I enjoyed serving half as much as I enjoyed campaigning, I was going to have a great time.

I am no fan of term limits. I think the voters are smart enough to decide when the Member needs to leave.

Serving in the House of Representatives thus far is the greatest honor I have had in my life.

This is set up to be a very family unfriendly place if you are not careful.

I attribute some of that to the term limits that we have on our side for committee chairs and ranking members, because that gives--it gives the opportunity to have a fresh start.
