No family should have to choose between a day’s wages and a doctor’s visit or go without care because of their zip code or income.

At a time when families are watching healthcare become more expensive and MAGA Republicans and Trump are ripping coverage away from millions of Americans, we should be expanding care, not taking it away.

I think that’s what all of us up here want them to be focused on.

The DCCC is focused on winning elections.

I predict someone will introduce a resolution of disapproval and I invite members of this committee who have worked with us to prevent nuclear weapons in the Middle East, from non-democratic countries, to join in that effort.

Is there any reason we should be bombing Iran because they won’t agree to limit their nuclear program while telling Saudi Arabia we give them the green light and they don’t even have to agree to these additional inspections?

We need to now fight to strip this amendment in the conference between the House and the Senate.

It’s a complete nonstarter.
