I would recommend the Not Just a Number Act.

We encourage the Committee to work in a bipartisan manner to take the best parts of both bills and combine them into a comprehensive community care bill.

Right now the VA is prevented from paying veterans to receive assisted living services. This bill would help address that.

We must work together to protect the rights of Indigenous peoples.

It fully settles costly water rights litigation.

We invest in infrastructure to provide clean drinking water and irrigation for tribal and non-tribal members.

How important is it to finalize this last remaining water settlement in the State of Montana and have a bill that could be implemented at the State, Federal, and local level?

VA's focus should remain on how veterans can receive the care they need, whether it is inside or outside of its facilities.

Well, we will spend the next several years getting rid of the bad apples, and that is going to create a big backlog.

Look, Senator Moran and myself come from places where health care is hard to find if you are in the VA.

This bill is a result of a lot of compromise, a century or more of work.

We strongly support this proposal to begin actively incorporating data and benefit usage into overall suicide prevention efforts within VA.

I have been critical of past VA administrations because of the failure to do more outreach.
