I think you are not in front of this dynamic yet, that might be an important on-ramp to leveraging the Farm Credit System.

Regarding beginning farmers and ranchers as well as small farmers, you have credit available as part of your portfolio to persons in this category.

Many of us receive complaints from the commercial banking sector that the Farm Credit System has an unfair advantage.

I do not want to see subsidies or bailouts for farmers.

We are hopeful that Congress can move quickly to pass a disaster supplemental for all of the 2018 and 2019 disasters in order to reassure lenders that the Federal Government is there to lend a helping hand.

Our farmers, ranchers, and producers face a number of threats to their livelihoods, from low commodity prices and tight margins to the externalities born of hard but necessary trade negotiations as well as the problem of natural disasters.
