Each year in my testimony before Congress on the judiciary's budget request, I ask that the Appropriations Committees take into account the nature and importance of the work of the Federal courts.

It is unfortunate that the President's budget does not reflect the same commitment to reducing the cost of government.

For the past several years, the financial services bill has included language extending temporary Article III judgeships.

The President wants to create $2.1 trillion new taxes, increase spending by 65 percent, and add $8.5 trillion to the debt over the next 10 years.

Why is Bashar al-Assad still in power years after the President said he must go but for any reason because Iran views Syria as a legitimate sphere of interest and the President has largely conceded that sphere?
