As Congress considers reauthorization of the Choice program, we need to look very closely at how we can make that program work better.

I believe very strongly that the Federal Government has a contract with those who have served in uniform.

I have joined with a bipartisan group of colleagues in introducing the Deborah Sampson Act to address gender disparities at the VA.

I hope that the discussion we have had today will help instill in VA that so necessary sense of urgency.

But I do want to make the case for VA Central Office to recognize that New Hampshire is in a different situation without a full-service medical hospital.

I want to know how the $30 million will be spent and if it will truly address the infrastructure and care coordination problems in Manchester.

I have long felt that what we need in New Hampshire is a full-service VA hospital.

We cannot accept a situation where millions of drivers are expected to be retrained on their own dime.

Would it make sense to have a set of standards that everybody had to meet in place?

It makes a lot more sense to me to make sure that it's incorporated so that autonomous vehicles are secure.

I am very concerned that we're all assuming that there are going to be levels of cybersecurity built into this technology.

I tend to listen to young people when they talk to us about technology.

I don't want to trade one set of harms for another.

There is no doubt that automated vehicles have tremendous potential to save lives and reduce the nearly 4,000 deaths caused by large truck accidents each year.
