I have a bill that is called the End Speculative Oil and Gas Leasing Act, and it prohibits leasing on lands with no or low potential for development.

I want to speak quickly about postal rural delivery, because in Nevada, during this pandemic the Postal Service has been of particular importance to our rural communities, even more so to our rural seniors.

We have to foster and protect those partnerships among universities or valuable research institutions.

I think you are right, not just in this area, but in all others, being sure we have that good cyber hygiene.

As you may be aware, Nevada is one of the largest geothermal energy producers in the country and I believe we have significant untapped potential.

I do believe there is an importance here with the public-private partnership that is essential in helping deploy these technologies.

I think coming from Nevada, 14 percent of the people that live in Nevada are organized labor.

We are not retraining them because they already have the skills.

Let us give them the opportunity for these new and different types of advanced technology jobs.

We need to transition those skills to the jobs of the future in this new kind of innovation economy with green energy.

I believe it is critical that we absolutely look at this for emerging technologies.

I have legislation to strengthen our transportation workforce efforts.

I am working on legislation to establish this interagency task force that will develop really a strategy for emerging technology standard setting.
